The following quote rings so true to me “We are remade in times of grief, broken apart and reassembled.” from The Wild Edge of Sorrow by Francis Weller 2015 page 1
This series is how our trip to Texas to visit Bryan and Sarah, and our grandchildren Tyler and Colin, was/is such a precious part in my slow “reassembling.”
Tyler is 2. Everything is new. The world is magic. And life is so, so busy!
His enthusiasm at the wonder of it all, his busy-ness, and especially his smile when he sees “Papa Dan”, and his gifts of twigs and leaves, and his love of Elmo and trucks, and his holding my hand as we walk to the park; these reassemble me. He remind me again, from the freshest of eyes, of the joy and beauty of the world.
Thank you so much, Mr. Tyler, for your special gift to me as you bloom into the world.
